Welcome to my place, my purpose is to create a supportive environment. To create new landscapes through new mindscapes, new ways of thinking, doing and being. To provide a place where like minded fellow travellers can pause, get some useful information and some spiritual sustenance before continuing on their way. Don't die with the music in you.
YOU
You are a sculptor and your life is your work of art. How often have you heard that the art is already within the stone or the wood, and that the sculptor just brings it out by chipping off the useless parts that get in the way of appreciating the art?
So, too, your fullest life is already within you. It might often be covered up by useless distractions or harmful habits. Take out that chisel and release the fullest love within you.

Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equity & Stewardship.
Simplicity is the capacity for selectivity in maintaining attention on one's goal, an appreciation of living one's life as much as possible free from dependence on material security. Simplicity is not only about possessions but also attitudes. Simplicity involves constantly challenging the way we live and what our true needs are, especially how our own standard of living is sometimes achieved at the expense of others and our environment.
Peace, strive to avoid violence to all beings in all forms including psychological, economic and systematic violence. What seems idealistic in one generation becomes a cherished right in the next.
Integrity has always been an important value but even more so in today's complex social, political and economic system within which we are required to live and do business. Life is one and each aspect has a function in our material and spiritual well being.
Community combines a sense of social inclusion, ethical investment, avoidance of exploitation and discrimination, racial justice and empathy of diversity of faith and spirituality.
Equality depends on a concept of mutual obligation and equity of access to the necessities of life for all beings and includes both social and criminal justice.
Stewardship requires us to examine our attitudes to self-indulgence, injustice and ecological disasters, whereby we take responsibility for the consequences of our own actions while being an influence for positive change in community attitudes.
"What is this self inside us, this silent observer,
Severe and speechless critic, who can terrorize us,
And urge us on to futile activity,
And in the end, judge us still more severely,
For the errors into which his own reproaches drove us?"
-- T. S. Eliot
How do you talk to yourself? Would you talk that way to anyone else?
Our thoughts create our reality. How do you typically think about yourself? Do you berate yourself for being stupid, sloppy, forgetful or insensitive? Do you watch yourself with interest, respect and compassion? Stay alert to your self-talk and let go of judgments that don't serve you.
"Self-acceptance is my refusal to be in an adversarial relationship to myself."
-- Nathaniel Branden
Understand clearly how life and natural laws work.
Never Too Late - Henry David Thoreau
It is never too late to give up our fears and prejudices. No way of thinking or doing, however ancient, can be trusted without proof. What everybody echoes or in silence passes by as true today may turn out to be falsehood tomorrow, mere smoke of opinion, which some had trusted for a cloud that would sprinkle rain on their fields. What other people say you cannot do, you try and find that you can. Old deeds for old people, and new deeds for new.
